As promised, we took our family/maternity shots on June 30th, so I am posting some of the shots today :)
A story behind the day... Anyone who's around me knows how I like to keep Emma on a strict schedule. She eats at certain times, she naps at certain times, and it makes managing a full time job, and her, and household chores, errands, etc... (everything that goes into being a full time working mom) manageable. Well, naturally, there are days when this schedule is thrown off and we have to adjust. And of course, on the day we have family photos planned, Emma decides she DOES NOT WANT TO NAP! ;) In addition, my back was killing me that day. It was a pain that I actually Googled to see if I may be having some sort of contractions. Not comfortable at all!! Generally having a high pain tolerance, this says a lot. So, needless to say, going in to the photo shoot with a temperamental toddler and an aching back, and Matt who HATES taking pictures to begin with, was far from the ideal photo shoot setting ;) But, I have to say, they turned out better than I expected!!
